What algorithm does it use?

By default, Recursive Backtracker (DFS) creates long-winding paths. Expert mode lets you pick Prim's (many dead ends) or Kruskal's (balanced branches).

Can I change the maze colors?

Yes. The Appearance panel has 6 wall-color presets, adjustable stroke width, and corner style options.

Can the same maze be regenerated?

Keep the same Settings panel values — the generator uses a seeded random number generator, so identical inputs produce identical mazes.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes. The interface adapts to small screens — though 200×200 previews are best viewed on tablets or desktops.

Is this a maze or a labyrinth generator?

It's a true maze generator. Strictly, a labyrinth has only one path with no choices, while a maze has branches and dead ends. The terms are often used interchangeably online — our tool creates real multicursal mazes with three classic algorithms.

Can I create mazes through an API or MCP?
